Mrs. April Brubaker
April Brubaker is the principal at Glen Cove Elementary School. Ms. Brubaker joins Roanoke County Public Schools after serving as the principal at Fairview Elementary in Roanoke City for 17 years. A graduate of Northside High School, Brubaker holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Radford University.
Mr. Matthew Gouker
Matthew Gouker is our Assistant Principal and comes to us from Botetourt County Schools. Matthew has taught for 14 years and has spent 10 of those years teaching special education at the elementary level. Matthew’s wife is also a teacher, and they have a daughter that is 6 years old.
